D-Day 1 was a success! 🙂

I am very proud to announce that I have finally finished my degree! 🙂 I tell ya, its not easy writing a dissertation when you are the size of a small elephant, have what feels like rabbits sending out warning kicks in your stomach, and can’t drink caffeine to stay awake! But I got there. After two false starts at uni 8 years ago and forcing myself through 4 years of work… I can finally get my life back. Whilst I feel a great sense of pride and achievement for sticking it out and pursuing the desire to have letters after my name, I can safely say… I never want to do anything like that again!

My plan now is to get the twins room ready and whilst I’ve made a start, I just feel so exhausted! Iv had a long nights sleep but I just don’t have any getupandgo today! Hubby says its coz I’m fat and lazy!

I also didn’t realise how much stuff the twins have! And thanks to my amazing friends and family who threw me a fantastic baby shower the other week, I have lots of gorgeous new things for the twins. If any of those friends are reading this… I love you all so much and am blessed to have you in my life!

I can start getting excited now (if I had the energy!) I had my 32wk scan and found out both babies are over 4lbs already and they also booked me in to be induced on May 17th. Although I find the methods of induction a little gross and scary!

Anyway I better go… Hubby, Princess and I are going to an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet for dinner tonight in attempt to satisfy my immense and never ending hunger and celebrate my degree!

😀  Xxx

Thanks! 🙂 it was particularly hard work while pregnant, managing a pub, moving house and raising a 4 yr old but I’m glad iv done it. Sometimes you just need to take a day off an start fresh the next day. Good luck with the rest of your work, when you feel your motivation slipping just remember you’ve come this far! Thanks again for commenting 🙂 Xx
