Wednesday Words

I mentioned last Wednesday that this week I had a poem of my own composition dedicated to my incredibly supportive husband.

Unfortunately being the idiot I am, I left it in isolation on my old mobile. So we will have to wait a few months until my phone is decontaminated from radiation, before I can blog that one.

Instead I am going to share with you the lyrics of the song which opens our wedding DVD. It's one you all know. It's one that hubs and I used to dance to at "Cheese night" at our local nightclub back in the days we began falling in love.

Before you start laughing, I want to ask you this...

Have you ever really listened to the lyrics?

Without further ado, I give you...

Baywatch Theme Tune

Some people stand in the darkness
Afraid to step into the light
Some people need to help somebody
When the edge of surrender’s in sight..

Don’t you worry!
Its gonna be alright
‘cause I’m always ready,
I won’t let you out of my sight.

I’ll be ready (I’ll be ready)
Never you fear (no don’t you fear)
I’ll be ready
Forever and always
I’m always here.

In us we all have the power
But sometimes its so hard to see
And instinct is stronger than reason
It’s just human nature to me..

Don’t you worry!
Its gonna be alright
‘cause I’m always ready,
I won’t let you out of my sight.

I’ll be ready (I’ll be ready)
Never you fear (no don’t you fear)
I’ll be ready
Forever and always
I’m always here.

(Instrumental)

‘Cause I’m always ready
I won’t let you out of my sight!

I’ll be ready (I’ll be ready)
Never you fear (no don’t you fear)
I’ll be ready
Forever and always
I’m always here.

Forever and always
I’m always here.

I feel exactly the same, britmunms was an amazing experience where online friends became real life friends. Although we’ve met a couple of times I don’t think we’ve properly spoken, and I hope that changes.
