I honestly thought today was Tuesday! But since it's not, here's a rather late, Wednesday Words!

I'm not feeling particularly creative at the moment. I'm lacking inspiration somewhat, due to the dark cloud hanging over me. I'm not feeling very festive either. I'm waiting for my Cancer results on Friday morning.

However, there is one song, which I think makes most people feel festive. One which has a completely different translation to me as an adult, to what I did as a child. I think children take these lyrics in a literal sense, whereas adults perceive it more in a metaphorical state - to describe the festive feelings and family moments that surround us at Christmas.

I wish it could be Christmas every day by Wizzard.

Oh when the snowman brings the snow
Oh well he just might like to know
He's put a great big smile on somebody's face

If you jump into your bed
And you cover up your head
Don't you lock the doors
You know that sweet Santa Claus is on the way

(Chorus)
Well I wish it could be Christmas everyday
When the kids start singing and the band begins to play
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday
Let the bells ring out for Christmas

When we're skating in the park
If the storm cloud paints it dark
Then your rosy cheeks are gonna light my merry way

Now the frosticals appeared
And they've frozen up my beard
And so we'll lie by the fire
Til the sleep simply melts them all away

(Chorus)
Well I wish it could be Christmas everyday
When the kids start singing and the band begins to play
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday
Let the bells ring out for Christmas

(Chorus)
Well I wish it could be Christmas everyday
When the kids start singing and the band begins to play
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday
Let the bells ring out for Christmas

Why don't you give your love, it's Christmas

When the snowman brings the snow
When the snowman brings the snow
When the snowman brings the snow
When the snow...........
