I’m now 29 weeks pregnant, but this is the post I wrote at 21 weeks pregnant (I will catch up with these soon honest!)

Sooooooooo… 21 weeks pregnant… and 30 years old. My goodness that just sounds SO MUCH older than 29! I’m not taking it very well to be honest. I still feel like I’m in my early twenties. I bet reaching the 30’s is going to make it harder to date people.

The girls dad and I have been getting on really well lately and he has carpeted my house for me, which seems like such a luxury. Progress on the house is still slow though. Jonny comes and spends every weekend with the girls, which I am thrilled about because they worship him. It would be a shame if he ever reduced contact with them. We even went on a date together. I’m not saying anything will happen there, but we had a nice time.

I’ve felt so much stronger and happier since I cut all contact with you-know-who and am looking forward to starting my new job.

This week I was supposed to have my 20 week scan, postponed from last week when I was ill. Yet thanks to seriously delayed buses and a 20 minute journey taking closer to 2 hours, I missed the appointment. When I arrived they said they had cancelled the appointment as the sonographer had to leave. I am well and truly sick of buses. I miss my car!

Determined that I wasn’t found to have wasted a long bus journey, the twins and I had breakfast in the hospital restaurant and did a spot of shopping in town. I don’t have much money, but we bought a few bits and pieces for baby bear.

We’ve been making lots of smoothies to try and boost our immune systems and Bunny is loving learning about superfoods. I’m sure it must be good for the baby too. I feel really healthy and am still enjoying that “glow” I talked about before. I can no longer fit into my normal clothes and am starting to move into my maternity clothes. I am the same size as I was at this stage with twins, so I think this is going to be a big baby!

Congratulations! I’m turning 30 next week and I still have no luck in getting pregnant again. We’ve been trying for 2 years now to have our 2nd baby. For me, you’re so lucky!
