After a recent request from a supporter of #EmmasArmy against Cancer, I have decided to branch the campaign out, to be more accessible to supporters living in other parts of the country. There are many people who wanted to walk 10 miles with #EmmasArmy to raise money for our collective total for Cancer Research UK. Sadly many of these people were unable to feasibly get to the Cotswolds. So… now, any of you, who wish to walk ten miles for #EmmasArmy, closer to home, wherever you live in the country (or World)… you can!
The 104 mile #EmmasArmy walk along the Cotswold Way, is of course continuing and there is still an army walking it together, every day for the ten days from May 15th – May 24th. We are still accepting signups from people who want to join us here too!
But now, we are hoping many others will join in the army, with a ten mile walk, close to their own homes. If this sounds like you… hop across to the signup form on the #EmmasArmy page of this blog and fill in your details. I will then drop you an email with more info on how to get set up as a member of the team.
We are also looking for sponsors. Even if you can only donate £1, or perhaps the cost of a pint, all money goes to Cancer Research UK. Please help us reach our collective target of £20,000. You can sponsor someone on the #EmmasArmy team here.
We would also love blog posts from anyone wishing to help promote the event. Contact me if you would like a copy of the poster too. There’s a linky at the bottom of the #EmmasArmy page.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign so far. I really appreciate all your efforts. Let’s help do our bit to wipe Cancer off the planet.
What a fantastic idea! Should hopefully get lots more people on board this way 🙂
