When I found out I was expecting twins, before I knew the sex, I went hunting for funky, colourful, but unisex, baby clothes. I found that most unisex options were really pale – nearly all cream or white! Whilst cream and white clothes are cute – I wanted to find something a bit more colourful. That was when I first came across GET MILKY baby clothing, by a lovely lady called Laura. She prints bold, distinctive retro style patterns on baby sleepsuits and bodysuits (as well as trousers, skirts, hats & many other things). I was in awe of the colours and designs she stocks. With two children herself, she really knows what parents look for in kids clothes and she stocks a variety of clothing for boys, for girls and a good selection of unisex styles.
I couldn’t control myself and last week I bought the twins these gorgeous cow print sleepsuits!
My babies are quite greedy and love their milk, so I thought the cow print was quite appropriate for them. When they wear them I can’t help but call them cow-like nicknames! When Tiny was crying and Fluffy was chomping on her hand in hunger (having just finished a big feed), I joked that I had a greedy cow and a stroppy cow! And throughout the day I kept calling them “my milky cow babies”. It’s all in good humour as I think my babies look GORGEOUS in them!
The sleepsuits are a nice stretchy fabric, not too thick and not too thin – so they are great for the current unpredictable British weather! The stretchiness means they will fit for longer and they are very easy to get on and off (which is essential when you have two wriggly babies to dress!) The dye used is non fade and they washed up great. I machine washed them at 40 degrees with all our pastel colours and the black dye didn’t transfer or fade at all. I shall definitely be investing in more of these sleepsuits, in different patterns, over the next two years and I think they’d make lovely presents too.
I also bought some red spotty skirts for the twins. I find it really hard to find baby skirts anywhere and in fact, other than these, I only own ONE other baby skirt (one each obviously!). I love the unique and bold designs of Laura’s GET MILKY skirts and again, my little twinnies looked beautiful in them. (I can tell they are going to get so sick of the camera!)

Great prize, would love to win one of these for my beautiful granddaughter
Whenever I see the cow print and babies it reminds me of the phrase “Got milk?” . The cow print outfit is however extremely cute. It would be good if they came in different colours that way the twins are dressed in the same outfit whilst having their own unique twist added to it. Gives the children a bit of personality .
Ah my children don’t need to be given personality, they have an abundance of it all on their own. I think dressing them the same, makes their personalities show even more.
Love the Get Milky range! Your twins look super cute in the spotty skirts, so Minny Mouse 🙂
How do I order the cow print ones. Need them soon
