All three of my daughters’ seem to have suddenly had a growth spurt and are now in need of a new spring wardrobe! Baby Bear has lots of clothes and much of his come from Next, so we were delighted when we were sent some Next girl’s clothing to review.
First off, I had the task with choosing outfits for the girls from the Next website and I have to tell you, I am astounded by just how much choice there is. It almost makes me never want to go into a store again, because there is so much more choice online. Eventually though I settled on some outfits and they arrived the very next day, well packaged and in perfect condition. These were from the “older girl’s” section of the website, which includes clothes from age 3 years to age 16 years. We all headed out for a fun afternoon at the park, which doubled as a photo shoot for me to capture the clothes.
It’s worth pointing out here, that we deliberately ordered the twins dresses a size too big because I wanted them to fit them all the way through spring, summer and possibly into the start of autumn too. I chose outfits that could be layered up in spring and autumn or dressed down in the summer months.
For Bunny, we went with a pair of blue distressed denim dungarees and a cream ruched sleeve cotton blouse with a pink floral print. She was mortified when she outgrew her last pair of dungarees and with this pair, she can roll them into cropped legs on warmer days. I love the top, as it is so feminine and really softens the look when paired with the dungarees. I think the flower print really reflects the season too. Bunny is just going into age 11-12 clothing in most brands now, so we bought her a 12 in the blouse, but due to stock levels, we got her an 11 in the dungarees as we didn’t want to wait. I have to admit, I bloomin’ love the photos of Bunny in this outfit too, she looks like she should be in the Next Directory!
I chose dresses for the twins, as they are always happiest in a dress, but paired them with leggings for the cooler days. I think this is a great way of choosing girl’s outfits for spring – choosing something summery and the layering it for warmth. We made the epic mistake of not buying shoes to match though, so that’s next on the list. The long sleeve pink floral dresses have a stretchy t-shirt style fabric on the top half and a thinner cotton fabric with a floral print for the skirt. The leggings come in a two pack including one dark pair with a floral print and one pink pair with a metallic thread running through it. The pink pair are definitely my favourite, but you can’t quite appreciate the colour properly in the photographs. Both pairs have side splits with ruching detail. We’ve put a twin in each pair to show them both! We bought the dresses and the leggings in age 7 years. The twins are actually not yet 6 but generally wear age 6-7years in most clothes.
It’s safe to say I love Next girl’s clothing just as much as their boy’s clothing. Baby Bear can often be spotted strutting around in outfits from Next, particularly as we live near an outlet store, a regular store and a big out-of-town store too. Although, I am tempted to order online more now that I know there is such a huge selection.

We were sent these clothes in exchange for an honest review. All words and opinions are entirely my own and not influenced in any way.
Really gorgeous outfits, they look amazing. I buy most of my daughter’s clothes from Next as they do have an amazing selection and ordering online is so quick and easy.
What beautiful outfits – and beautiful photos of your girls! I’ve always bought most of my daughter’s clothes from Next and do usually buy them online as the selection is bigger. My daughter went into the store yesterday and moaned that they don’t have anything in her size, as they don’t keep sizes bigger than age 12 in store, but they go right up to age 16 online.
