~~~ HAPPY EASTER! ~~~
This is the first year we have made a big deal out of Easter and it is also the twins first Easter.
We started Easter with making our Easter Chocolate Truffles on Thursday.
Then on Saturday, Bunny made an Easter Card based on one we saw on Pinterest.
Last night Daddy became the Easter Bunny and left a trail of mini Easter eggs all around the house. Each little trail of small eggs, lead to a normal sized egg.
Bunny woke up this morning to her cuddly bunny holding a note! This was her first ever visit from the Easter Bunny! She excitedly ran through the house with Daddy until she had collected 38 EGGS! …Yes I think that is far too many for one little girl too! But that includes the eggs from us and all her grandparents too. She was, as ever, eager to share, so I had an Easter egg for breakfast too! In fact, Bunny has given both me and daddy one of her Easter eggs, each! She insists! Bless her.
And she wanted to share with her little sisters too, so the twins got their first taste of real chocolate. They shared a tiny egg between them… needless to say, they LOVED it!
The funniest part was Bunny saying, “I think the Easter Bunny got this egg from ASDA”. Lol. I think he got them all there! She went on to tell us all about how the Easter Bunny sleeps in her bedroom and every Easter, he uses her wand, to make himself come alive!
By this point in the day, we were feeling fully festive and so I changed the twins into their new dresses…
…And they gave each other a little Easter kiss!
Finally, before lazing the day away… we had to eat some hot cross buns (after I cremated the first three – who knew they cooked so quickly?!)
What have you been up to over Easter?
