The twins are at that awkward stage, where they have outgrown their bath seats, yet they are not old enough to sit in the big bath. When they do, they just slip and slide and fall over, or try to get out. The Stokke Flexi Bath is said to be suitable from birth up to 4 years, so we thought we’d give it a try.
The Stokke Flexi Bath is a foldable baby bath, which can be used with or without a newborn support.
I tried it with Tiny first, who seemed much more confident in the water in the Flexi Bath than she does in the big bath. Tiny didn’t try to get out, but she did slip a bit, so I put Fluffy in with her. Despite having shockingly long legs for 15 month olds (in age 2-3 years trousers), they both fit in the Flexi Bath together nicely.
I filled the big bath with toys and the twins loved that they could just reach over the side of the Flexi Bath, and help themselves to toys.
The Stokke Flexi Bath was easy to fill, and has it’s own plug to empty it, without having to tip it up (like we used to have to do with Bunny’s first baby bath). When finished, the Flexi Bath just folds flat. This mean’s it’s easy to store and doesn’t take up tons of room, like traditional baby baths.
Obviously, like any baby bath, constant supervision is required. I personally found the twins were better in this one together, than separately. I think I will buy a non slip mat to go in the bottom.
I personally think that the Stokke Flexi Bath is a good solution to our bathtime problem and my girls seem much more confident in the water, in this. It has the added benefit of saving us money on our water bill, as we will no longer be filling the big bath for the twins.
For newborn babies, there is a newborn support that attaches to the Stokke Flexi Bath and the bath itself comes in blue, orange, white or transparent.
Disclaimer: I did not receive any payment for this post, but I was sent a Stokke Flexi Bath, which I chose to review from my own perspective.
Adorable! This look great! I think I’ll have to get one for my son!
