For readers who missed the announcement, I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant, but I wrote blog posts throughout my pregnancy – these are being published now – to share my story. Why I can’t have any more children…

24 October, 2013 by Emma MacDonald 27 Comments

This post has been a long time coming. It has taken a long time for me to accept, and I’m still not sure if I have accepted it. I am blessed, with three incredible daughters, that I wouldn’t change for the world. But every mum, has that secret number. The secret number of how many […]

Jonny and I, got married in June 2011. In that time, I have thoroughly tested his staying power with the “In sickness and in health” wedding vow. First up, was a very complicated twin pregnancy, Hyperemesis Gravidarum and Symphis Pubis Dysfunction. But I couldn’t leave it there could I? No, I developed Pre-Eclampsia and then alongside haemorrhaging several times, I nearly […]

When my category winner was announced as […]

On the feed run this morning, with Farmer Emma dri On the feed run this morning, with Farmer Emma driving the tractor. There's a partition screen in the middle to seperate families. It's strange that Farmer Nick and Farmer Fiona aren't here, but Farmer Emma and Farmer Anya are doing a fabulous job! Our twins have bonded with Emma and Anya's twins, so they want to spend every moment on the farm now, instead of going out for day trips!

I love that the feed run gets me up and out in the fresh air early in the morning. Makes our days feel longer and us feel more awake. It's easy to forget what's going on in the world, when you're in such a beautiful place, surrounded by nature.
