I have found Twitter, Facebook and the blogosphere to be an enormous support network for me. Thousands of incredible people who take time out of their day to send me a message of kindness, hope, well wishes or comfort.
These people know they have carried me through the darker times of my Cancer treatment.
There is one however, who instead, chose to use these platforms to spread vicious lies about me and about several other bloggers. For no reason other than her own bitterness.
Whilst I let this wash over my head and blend into insignificance, others have been hurt by it.
So I wanted to lift their spirits and give them a Wednesday Words quote, to hopefully raise a smile, when they reflect on their lost friend.
So here it is:
"Should you find yourself the victim of other peoples bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities, remember this, things could be much worse. You could be one of them!" - author unknown
(If anybody knows who the original author was - please let me know)

That is a great quote! It’s such a shame there are some unsavoury people in this world. Xx

Fab post! Made me smile (and do a little evil laugh!).
this is a very good quote. I feel sorry for people who have nothing better to do in their lives than to be horrible to others – their lives must be very empty indeed. I think you are right to let these things wash over you. xx
can’t believe there’s someone out there with enough spite to do that! but your attitude to her is clearly spot on 😉 good on you xxx

I wish I could take credit for that quote, it’s quite lovely, and so true! I’m glad you’re letting it all pass you by. Life is too short to worry about the pettiness of others. x
Pish and Fah! You’re amazing. End of chat.
Anyway, I’ve stuck my neck out and used a bit of my writing this week. Hope that’s ok.

what shocking behaviour, i’m flabbergasted. The quote is great and probably said by a woman!
I always think those who are nastiest are the ones who are unhappiest and wish to make themselves feel better by being mean to others, so I love that quote 🙂
