I read some great quotes on cards in a card shop yesterday...
"Whatever you do, always give 100%... unless you are donating blood".
"Follow your dreams. Except that one where you fly - that one never ends well".
I thought they were great, so I just had to share them. They put a big smile on my face.
Not very philosophical, but funny nonetheless.
I've had an uber busy week... so much so... that yes, I'm publishing #WednesdayWords on a Thursday! Sorry folks!
One of the things I did last week, was to get my hair cut and my fringe dyed. I often find it's time to reinvent myself; either when I get bored or after something rubbish has happened. It seems to refresh my outlook.
So when I found this quote on reinvention, I decided it would be perfect for this weeks
Wednesday Thursday words!
People who cannot invent and reinvent themselves must be content with borrowed postures, secondhand ideas, fitting in instead of standing out.

I guess that fits me quite well. I've never been the "fitting in" type. I've always been a bit quirky / weird. I often change how I look and I've had many dramatic hair styles over the years. Back in my pre-children, pre-husband days, I always used to get over a relationship break-up with a new hair-do, new outfit and new underwear! Now I'm married I just reinvent myself randomly!
What have you been up to this week? What words, quote, poem or lyrics sum it up for you?
